VGJ is looking for a Sales Associate to join the business development team. We are looking for a self-starter to own the sales cycle from prospecting & discovery, all the way through closing the deal. This role will have a large amount of autonomy and will work in tandem with VGJ’s Business Director & General Manager. This full time position is a salary + commission based role. Remote work is acceptable, local to New York Metro Area is preferred.
- Strategically prospect relevant sponsor opportunities in the esports space
- Lead outbound outreach via phone and email to schedule meetings with sponsors and potential partners
- Maintain an organized pipeline through G-Suite and CRM platform
- Close deals on behalf of the company
- Aid Business Director and General Manager in other various projects
- 1-3 years of sales experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Must be a proactive and responsive team player
- Esports knowledge is a major plus
